Blue Sky Ideas for Walking

Networking events for people promoting walking

Format of a Talk the Walk event is fairly straightforward.

  • Meet up
  • Mix and Mingle
  • Listen to a 3-5 minute presentation - up to 12 at any event - (let us know if you have something you want to talk about).
  • Ask questions - Share ideas - Create an action plan

Our next Talk the Walk on the theme of "Childhood: Children, play and independent mobility" will take place at Play England 8 Wakley Street, London EC1V 7QE from 4.30pm to 7.00pm on Wednesday 9 September - Please note that this event is now fully subscribed. Find out more details from here:

For each event we create a new wiki page to which you can add information, recommendations and suggestions.

You can join an accompanied walk of play spaces in south Islington from Play England's offices from 3.00pm on Weds 9 September - more details from Liz Kessler at EC1 New Deal.  Places are still available for the walkabout.
