Blue Sky Ideas for Walking

Networking events for people promoting vibrant walkable neighbourhoods

Format of a Talk the Walk event is fairly straightforward.

  • Meet up
  • Mix and Mingle
  • Listen to a 3-5 minute presentation - up to 16 at any event - (let us know if you have something you want to talk about).
  • Ask questions - Share ideas - Create an action plan

In 2012, in association with the University of Greenwich, we are launching a series of fortnightly Pop In Debates to explore how to revitalise the economic hearts of our communities. Our first Talk the Walk Pop In debate will be held on Thursday 3 May at the Wise Owl Venue in Willesden Green. Click here to find out more

Check out our Advice sheet on School Growing Clubs - read how it was derived from two Talk the Walks - and download it here.

We are always open to partnerships offering venues, so please do get in touch if you would like us to run a Talk the Walk - simply email us

For each event we create a new wiki page to which you can add information, recommendations and suggestions.
